Other important safety information
Patients who have a condition called “left ventricular outlet obstruction” from valvular problems or heart muscle enlargement may get side effects such as fainting or light-headedness. Because patients with recent heart attacks or stroke, heart pains (angina), heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or uncontrolled irregular heart beats, severe liver disease, and retinal eye problems have not been studied, Tadalafil (Cialis) is not recommended for these patients. There may be rare occurrences of priapism or painful, prolonged erections. This is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. Patients should seek prompt medical attention if their erection lasts longer than four hours.
After taking a single tablet, Tadalafil can remain in the body for up to two days. It can remain longer if patients have problems with their kidneys or liver, or they are taking certain other medications.

Tadalafil is an oral medication used to treat ED in men. It is sometimes used off-label for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
Tadalafil works by increasing the blood flow to the penis to help men achieve and maintain an erection. It is a phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor, which means it works in approximately 70% of men with erectile dysfunction. Patients with erectile dysfunction often respond to doses of Tadalafil of up to tbsite 10mg taken before sexual activity. However, tbsite may not be the best long-term treatment for many men.

Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing increased blood flow and facilitating a satisfactory sexual intercourse. Tadalafil is effective for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, particularly when sexual stimulation occurs.
Tadalafil was evaluated for clinical use in approximately 12,000 men, most commonly in combination with other therapies. Of the men who received tadalafil, approximately 10% reported improved erections after sexual intercourse, compared with 2% who were not treated.
In clinical trials, tadalafil significantly improved erections and decreased spontaneous and impulsive ejaculation in men with erectile dysfunction. It also significantly increased the time to ejaculation in men with sexual arousal disorder.
Tadalafil has a narrow therapeutic window. In clinical trials, tadalafil is approximately half the amount of the active ingredient in the generic formulation, and absorption of tadalafil may be affected by food.
